When using the slideshow, the following points should be helpful:
- There are various controls available to enhance the use of the Slideshow. It is necessary to click on any image in order for the controls to be activated.
- After activation, tapping the space bar will pause the slide show and tapping it again will resume it.
- If you right click on an image you can then 'zoom in', but don't forget to pause it first, otherwise you will find it zooming in on the next image instead. If you right click again a hand appears enabling you to drag the image to reach the area of interest, using the left click to assist you. Later right click again and select 'show all'.
- The number of each image is highlighted in the navigation bar underneath the image. If you move the mouse over any number a thumbnail of that image will be displayed so that you can quickly find the image that you are looking for.
- In some cases a thumbnail may not be available. In this case, if you make a note of the number of any particular image, you can return to that image by clicking it's number.
- Clicking the plus or minus symbols on the navigation bar enables rapid movement through the images.
- There is a 'Gallery' icon at the left on the navigation bar at the bottom. Click this and alternative folders are displayed. Click on the one you would like to view. More folders will be added later.
- For the technical: both Active X and Java Script must be enabled in your browser for the slide show to work. Both of these are normally enabled by default.
- If you are using Firefox as your browser, it will be necessary to install the Flash plugin to run the slides, if you have not already done so. This should be offered automatically the first time you run this website so you should have already seen this offer when you read these instructions.
